We're Americans vacationing in Rome, so communicating was difficult. But we did manage, and our food was good. Loved the atmosphere, and the staff did their best to communicate.
Huge choice of meats with a good taste!
They first come rare, they cut it and then they lay it on a hot stone and you can leave it until the meat is cooked for your taste!

If you like to try different types of meat this is the place for you. Famous place for locals, service is good with honest prices. Their truffle/porcini sauce is fabulous but I think it is not for everyone. I would have preferred it on side rather than on top because it becomes a bit too strong. Overall, good place to try out.
Good steak and pasta here. Their medium is an American rare, so if you want a Western medium get it well done.

We popped in around 7:45pm on a Friday (no reservation) we were the first customers so the waiter had some extra time to take care of us.
The waiter that followed us suggested that we checked out the meat section straight away and he showed us the many cuts available (all with different origins and curing processes)
The meat was served with a hot stone so to warm it up when needed.
We were suggested the house wine, a red, which was quite strong for our taste buds but still quite pleasant with the meat.
The bill was well balanced given the high quality meat, enjoyed our time and will definitely come back again!!
Very good meat indeed, though the proposed selection on the menu didn't reflect the availability (mostly because it was told us the menu has not been renewed rather than for a scarcity of meat).
The environment is nice, well organised and it suggests the one of a typical Osteria you can normally find in those ancient parts of Rome like Trastevere.
Good selection of wines, though they are a bit overpriced. That said, the waiter who served us was very upfront and honest in recommending a less expensive wine because at his discretion our choice was and the price required was not adequate.
Amazing! Very good food.
Great scenery around in the restaurant, had a nice smell, service was fast, meat was only a little warm.
